What do I have and how do I get rid of it?So last week when I asked what should I do since I've been sick for 2 months, most of you said go to the doctor...Well I went on Monday and my doctor told me I had tonsillitis and gave me a prescription..Here's the thing though, I don't think that's the only thing I have because I am in constant pain and it hurts to move...My mom asked if I was taking the medication the doctor gave me and I told her yes then she said to give it one more day and if I wasn't better then I needed to go back in...
Does anyone have any clue to what I might have? If so how can I get rid of it so I can stop missing school?

Sounds like additional testing should be ordered, i.e., blood test and possibly a chest x-ray. Something is not right and should be checked out immediately. Being sick like this for 2 months is not, I repeat, not normal. If your physician does not do this, then find someone else to help you find out what is wrong. A bout of tonsillitis should not last two months with this much pain.
