WEIRD WHITE STUFF ON TONSILS?About a week and a half ago my throat hurt really bad. I just thought it was a normal sore throat that will eventually go away.. BUT I had no other "cold" symptoms and my throat didn't feel like a cold type of hurt soo.. I looked at the back of my throat to see what's going on and I see this white stuff all over the tonsils. They aren't really THAT much inflamed or anything and they really don't LOOK like tonsil stones becuase it's bigger and stuff.. so I went to the emergency room thinking it was strep so I got the rapid test, came back negative. got the culture test and it came back negative after about five days later. SO WHAT'S GOING ON?? Is it really tonsil stones? i've tried to pop one out but that didn't work and i do have bad breath after brushing and gargling with Listerine so I'm leaning on a severe case on tonsil stones... just wondering what you guys are thinking. Could it still be strep after those negative results? Could it be something else.. and btw it's been like 5-7 days since my throat isn't hurting at all it's all better. I do not have a fever and I did have nausea earlier but I don't think it was anything to big a deal... happened when I worked out and I'm over weight so that could be why.. prolly tired =D and all I had to eat was a apple and chips... and it was like 4PM lol <--- bad diet.. anyway!
Any advise or "Hey! I've been through that!" type stories would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's no big deal though..
It just means that at one time ur tonsils were infected over a long period of time and they stayed like that when they wen't to their normal size

those things really cause bad breath and they are normal...... i woukd not recommend listerine cause it has a really strongh sensations.......i hightly recomend this mouthwash that is called therabreath and it comes in a green bottle.... that is the best thing that there is out there.... i had the same problem and that really made things get better.... there is a 8 $ diffrerencebetween listerine and this product but it is REAAALLLYYY worth it... try it... good luck..... follow instruction just hoew it says on the labe; in the bottle

try tonsillitis, strep or staph did they give you a z pac? gargle w warm salt water peroxide and water use q tip pop the kernels on your tonsils try antibiotic ear drops help fight an infections peroxide and water will help w/ bad breath! it oxygenates ...your a snorer dry mouth is possible
