swollen tonsil???my mom is in a lot of pain...her tonsil hurts alot!!!!
she can';t eat or drink or talk when she wants to say something i have to give her a piece of paper so she can write on it so i can see what she wants!
what can she do to stop the pain so the tonsil wont hurt her.
plzzz help.
her tonsil are big.
and swollen she cannot talk hellppp!!!

She needs to get some/any kind of medical help. She cant avoid it. Im not sure what it is but I had problems with my tonsils doing very weird things for years off and on when I was younger and evertually I had to get them removed.

Have her take some Motrin and drink plenty of cold fluids, this will decrease the swelling and pain. She needs to find out what is causing the swollen tonsils though as it sould be a bacteria such as Streptococcus. For this she would need antibiotics to get rid of the infection. She really needs to see a doctor to have a throat culture done and probably take an antibiotic for a week. Good luck, I hope she feels better.
