Sore throat, craters in tonsils, and white circle on them!?I've had a sore, scratchy throat for a few days now. I also have a slight cough because of the scratchiness and it hurts a little when I swallow. I took a flashlight and was looking at my throat and noticed craters in my tonsils (is that normal?) and a tiny white circle on just the right side of my tonsils. What could this be?
Thanks!
Joe

The white circles could be a sign of strep throat. Have your doctor take a look, he/she'll be able to tell you what's going on and give you some medication if need be :)
In the meantime, drink a lot of water and get some rest. Hope you feel better!

Don't worry ... just a throat infection that will require an antibiotic ( a strong one, maybe) and lots of rest . So get to your doctor right now.
