is this herpes on tonsils?i felt like i was going to get a sore throat (like if i needed to cough or something nothing serious) about a week ago but i never felt pain or anything about five days later i look in my mouth with a flash light to see if i saw a sign of a sore throat coming and i saw what i thought looked like canker sores but only on my tonsils and a tiny red dot near the roof of my mouth towards the back they weren't red didn't itch of make it hard to eat but i was worried;
i went to the doc and got a rapid test for strep throat it was negative and so i asked the doc if it look like herpes she said it could be but she wasn't sure cause "it didn't look serious" but to be safe she gave me valtrex so in a week i get my results i'm really nervous cant sleep or eat. i haven't had signs of it down there the person i've been with doesn't either and its not around my lips or anything but i noticed another tiny red dot on the roof of my mouth.
does this sound like herpes?

They could be tonsilloliths -'tonsil stones'.
Tonsilloliths are irregularly shaped, whitish/yellow globs of mucus and bacteria that get caught in the back of the throat. They form in the tonsil crypts which are simply small pockets that appear in everyones tonsils.
