I have one swollen tonsil on the right side, with no other symptoms.?My right tonsil has been swollen for 3 days now. It is tender and uncomfortable when i eat/drink. I have no other symptoms and I do not feel bad at all other than the tonsil being sore. I can also feel the swelling directly underneath my jaw bone. I have been eating Sucrets to help with the pain, but I would like to know how to help myself heal faster.

Partial treatment with sucrets has so far helped the other tonsil from getting infected.It's time you should see a doctor who is likely to give you a 3-5 day course of an antibiotic with an anti inflammatory drug and aspirin gargles.A stitch in time saves nine,so don't waste time on self medication.
