I think I may have strep or tonsillitis. Should I be worried about getting the baby sick?I have red bumps on the back of my sore throat and I have been very tired over the past 4 days. I'm thinking tonsillitis. It could be mono starting too. My main concern is that I have a 4 month old at home. What should I do?

Tonsilitis is just the common sore throat....strep you need a test and you would possibly have white patches on your throat and possibly a rash on your chest. With mono you wouldn't be able to swallow and most likely stay in your bed for some time along with a fever (I had mono). The only way to make sure you don't have any of these is to go in and have a strep test done and a blood test for the mono. Otherwise, keep your hands clean especially after coughing or if you put her hands in your mouth, make sure you don't cough on the baby. Basic stuff.
