How will pain from tonsil removal surgery be?I am 15 years old.

I didn't know they still removed tonsils (unless it was absolutely necessary)! I guess since you asked you are having it done.
When mine were removed (seems many moons ago) I was a child (maybe 6/7). It's hard to judge my pain threshold then vs now. What I do recall was that it felt like a bad case of "Strep-throat" afterwards, which would make sense considering they just cut something out. It does heal pretty quickly.

not to bad you can handle it at your age.besides they give you lots of ice cream.

I had mine out when I was 11. It was like a bad sore throat. Be sure to follow the doctor's advice and eat soft foods.
