How long after treatment does tonsillitis remain painful?I began my fever on Sunday, started developing a sore throat around Tuesday, and when to the doctors on Thursday where he prescribed me antibiotics for tonsillitis but I'm going on vacation on Tuesday and I really don't want my sore throat to persist. This is my first time with it, when will I start feeling better?

Awh Im annoyed nobody has answered your question. My fever began sunday (3days ago) sore throat developed during yesterday, saw doctor today and im on antibiotics. id like to know when im going to feel better cus right now im feeling terrible and just ill :( Dr told me hopefully a day or two after staring the antibiotics so hopefully thats worked for you and you enjoy your vacation.
