Can you receive Chronic tonsillitis from someone else?Naturally you can catch acute tonsillitis....what about chronic....my friend has chronic tonsillitis and is going to get an operation...however I think he infected me with my first case(BOOOO!!!!)....will it also likely be chronic?

Everyone who has an attack of acute tonsillitis will not progress to chronic tonsillitis. So do not worry.
