hi can u check my symptoms please?hi for the pass 48 hours i have these symptoms
*inflamed mouth (very red)
*swollen and tender glands (in neck)
*sore throat
*white/yellow spots on tonsils
*bleeding tonsils
*sometimes it hurts when i swallow
*always tired
can u help what it is and any other symptoms i should look out for thank u !

I had similar symptoms once, I went to the doctor and it turned out that I had a severe case of mono. I would advise going to the doctor.

Wondering if you have any fever or sores in the mouth? I'm wondering about Coxsackie virus. Everyone gets it at some point, but most people get it when they are young. Could also be strep or Mono. I'm leaning towards Mono if there is no fever.

Off to the ER for you. You are going to need a throat culture done. You need doctors care. NOW!!
why ask this question as you don't have anything at home to clear this up. Sounds like you have Tonsillitis or strep throat. Good Luck

The memory of having Strep is hard to forget. Several years ago I had it. One day my throat hurt so bad I only swallowed once. Our daughter had it last year, luckily I caught it right way. Below are some of the symptoms I had as did my daughter.
Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms. Pain or difficulty with swallowing. Check for a (high) fever. With Strep a fever comes on quickly. Lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.Swollen lymph nodes in the neck. White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils. Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat. Swollen tonsils, although this symptom may also be caused by a viral infection.
Please make an apt. with your Doctor. The Dr. will do a throat culture. Most likely he will know after examining you. Until you have an apt try gargling with warm salt water. Ice chips help by keeping you hydrated and numbing the throat.
I know how horrible you must feel. I've had Strep a couple times, its not fun. "Please" try and rest. Take care of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!
