how do you treat a red bump under tonsil?I noticed this small red bump on the side of my left tonsil. Could this mean its an infection and how can i treat it? I've been getting tonsil stones on and off, i try to get them out. The worst i tried was using my finger and it either gets scratched or its red. I haven't had time to see a doctor lately cause i have new medical insurance. What should i do?

You should not be messing with picking at the bumps, if it's an infection the poking around could spread it out. Vitamin C or Echinacea might help, but the best thing to do is go to a doctor. This might turn into an abcess which is an infection.
