if you've never given oral, then you can't possibly have herpes on your tonsils. I bet you have tonsilitis, and need to have your tonsils removed. An Ear-Nose-Throat specialist could tell you for sure what's going on though.

Yes you have don't lie!
But no, it's just a case of tonsilitis, your tonsils will have to come out so book an appointment with your doctor asap.
Tonsilectomy is exremely painful afterwards, alot more for some, only young children seem to heal quicker without the pain. It will hurt to swallow and even getting down the icecream is painful (Even though I didn't even get any!)

If you participate in oral sex without protection, you could have herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, HPV.....a myriad of diseases.

And it could be tonsillitis, go see the doc!

(this really isn't rocket surgery, after all...)

Are you eating acid fruits? like oranges, any citric fruit.
it is possible, or can be an infection, or a virus, use warm water with salt, the prepare water shall be in your mouth, for at least 30 sec. then spit, do not swallow that. 3 times a day.
the streptococcus can be taken from any source, even your saliva.
can be aftas, and the time to recover is 14 days, hope you get well. or use orajel and place it with a qtip. Hope you Get well soon.
another solution is to take your tonsils out, you don't need them, it is a good advice.

You have mono. You dont have herpes on your tonsils, herpes tends to stay on the outer regions of the mouth, for some reason it doesnt live too well inside of the mouth. You should gargle with h202, and also warm water and salt will help. It will go away in a few months, you should be on some type of treatment though, medical or natural, you need something internal to treat mono, try Echinacea/Goldenseal.
