why are my tonsils constantly huge?my tonsils are always swollen! they are not usually painful, but every now and again they do hurt and make swallowing painful. Why are they still huge?

you probably have tonsilitis and will need a tonsilectomy. go see your ear nose and throat doctor (ent) and they should give you a proper diagnosis

Tonsils are always swollen when you drink or eat cold temperated things.It's better go to EKG surgeon and ask him/her to remove it by simple operation ( surgery).

You might have tonsilitis. You also might have cryptic tonsils which means that you have a hole in atleast one of your tonsils so your tonsils may be infected. This doesn't necessarily mean that they need to be removed but if it continues to bother you, you should go to your normal doctor or an ear/nose/throat doctor
