I have four tiny white dots on the right side of my thorat only. I have no tonsils. The dost are located where my right tonsil used to be. They do not hurt and I don't have a sore throat really. Other than it being winter and just having that lingering winter sniffle etc I am fine and feel fine. I noticed the dots about two weeks ago. I have become obsessed with them and they are scaring me. I have dentits apointment tomorrow and am going to ask him about it and then make an apt with my primary physicial or an ENT. does anyone know what this might be. My worst fear of course is that I have some sort of cancer. any thoughts or ideas. I heard it might be cold sore or something liek that.

Thrush or it is a throat infection, your tonsils would normal have picked up the infection.

could also just be where you were cauterized after the tonsillectomy, and you've just recently noticed the scarring. could simply be that you have a minor infection (which can happen even w/o tonsils). good idea to check with a doc, try not to think worst-case until then.
