what simple home remedies are there for sore tonsils?I woke up yesterday and they were fine, but later (like when I was thinking about going to bed) my left one started hurting, and I woke up today, and it's a little worse, but my right one hurts like my left one did earlier. What can I do to fight this? Is it from breathing cold air? I sleep in a cold room with a fan blowing right in my face...

it ight be from that but if not it could be strep throat which i get and it suxx.. but use some salt and water and gargle it.. if it dnt go away in like 2 to 3 days go to a doctor jus to be on the safe sidee

Whatever the cause, you can soothe your throat by sucking on cough drops, gargling with warm saltwater, eating ice cream or ice pops, drinking lots of fluids, humidifying dry air, and using throat sprays containing dyclonine (Cepacol Maximum Strength Sore Throat Spray, Sucrets Thraot Spray) or phenol (Cheracol Sore Throat Spray).
