swollen lymph nodes, high lymphocytes, low neutrophiles, tonsollitis?

Do you find what you need? Look here!
swollen lymph nodes, high lymphocytes, low neutrophiles, tonsollitis?hi, thanks for reading.
about 3 weeks ago, a swollen lymph node appeared on my neck, the same week, some more appeared on the groin and axila. then about 2 weeks ago i got tonsollitis, it was very bad acording to the doctor, and it was a viral infection, before i was diagnosed withh tonsollitis, the doctor ordered some liver and CBC test. In the liver, everything was fine except the ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE, AST, ALT and LDH were high. and on the CBC test, everything was fine except the NEUTROPHILES were low and the LYMPHOCYTES were high. i recieved treatment for tonsollitis and i think they were completely gone by the end of the week. but my lymph nodes are still swollen. i've been almost 1 week "tonsollitis free" but the lymph nodes are still there, so...when will they go away? is it normal? or am i just really paranoid?

so to sum up,
week 1 =swollen lymph nodes.
week 2 =swollen lymph nodes , tonsillitis.
4 days into week 3 = swollen lymph nodes.

thanks i hope you can help

Could be mono with some hepatic involvement.

Ok, as a nurse I dont diagnose patients I help treat them but that sounds incredibly similar to glandular fever.

Infectious mononucleosis, also known as the kissing disease, or Pfeiffer's disease, mono and more commonly known as glandular fever results in the following symptoms:

* Fever—this varies from mild to severe, but is seen in nearly all cases.
* Tender and enlarged/swollen lymph nodes—particularly the posterior cervical lymph nodes.
* Sore throat—White patches on the tonsils and back of the throat are often seen
* Muscle weakness and Mental fatigue (sometimes extreme)

And more symptoms occur on a case by case basis.

I suggest you get a second opinion and dont forget to keep your fluids up and go to Emergency if it is getting much worse.

hope that helps :)

The nodes should be normal again by the end of Week 4, or soon after.
