What is the white stuff on my tonsils?I have had mono twice and both times, I got disgusting white things on my tonsils. But now I get that constantly. Sometimes I spit it out and sometimes I can't get it to come off. It's like little pieces of white things. What is it and why is it there?

They are called tonsil stones or tonsiliths. They are calcium build ups from bacteria and food. I have them too but don't know too much about it. Google it there's a lot of information. However, I don't think there's a cure other than getting your tonsils removed.

It is normal for people to have spots in their throat from time to time. I do even though I have had my adenoids removed.
The spots you have and the stuff that comes out is just excess stuff from your tonsils or tonsil stones. I know 2 people who had overactive tonsils and had surgery to remove their tonsils. Ask your regular doctor to refer you to an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctor. They will be able to provide an appropriate solution for you.
