what can i do to lower the swolling of my tonsils?my tonsils are swollen. i was suppose to get surgery to remove then but i can't cause i have to wait for my medicaid. i have been to doctor they have giving so many antibiotics but it still won't lower it down. i have fever also. am really sick, they won't do surgery unless i have medicaid. idk what to do i had this for quite a while isn't their something that can lower it. they even have me a shot and nothing.

Same with me but i didn't get mine removed instead just leave it alone nothing will help just relax it will go away in like 5 days get some breathe right strips if u can't breathe :-)

Gargling with warm salt water will draw the swelling (infection) out of your throat. It is only temporary and not a cure, but doing this several times a day will help the pain. Also take ibuprofen for pain/fever and tea with honey, and try to stick with soft foods. .
