Tonsillitis...................?So i have tonsillitis, i went to see my gp , and he gave me eruthromycin , one four times a day (250mg) the only problem is i cant take four a day because i get really bad side affects , would it be ok to take one twice a day ? in the long run would it have the same affect ?
and how can i stop it hurting so i drink and eat real food ?

he knows i get side afects from them , last time he prescribed something diffrent i ended up in hostpital on intensive care because i had had such a bad reaction to them, he is very unwiling to prescribe anything else

i have tonsillitis and i don't eat anything i have been on 8 tablets a day for the last 21 days and i am going to the doctor next week so i am not eating much but i can't cope it's making me feel like i have got anorexia and as for side affects takes ibuprofen tablets i take one every 4 hours

If you are getting bad side effects from the medication he prescribed to you,call your doctor and tell him.He needs to put you on something else that isn't going to give you side effects,If the doctor knew that you would have side effects from the medication,he wouldn't have prescribed it to you.
