Swollen tonsils?About 2-3 weeks ago, i had a really bad sore throat. It was extremely painful to swallow and to eat. I noticed that my tonsils were red and swollen, but i didnt go to the doctor because i just thought that it was just a cold and that the swelling would go away. Now the sore throat is gone, but my tonsils still look swollen. Im really worried because eventhough i dont have any pain, i've noticed that my tonsils are swollen and they almost touch the little dangling thing (the ulva i think) in the back of my throat. I also noticed that i snore WAY more, after i had that cold. I want to go to see a doctor but its almost impossible to get an appointment.
Im REALLY worried! someone plz help me.

Your tonsils have enlarged in response to infection. They may return to normal size over a period of time, or they may stay enlarged. If it bothers you, you can see an ENT doc and discuss options, including surgical removal.

you need antibiotics because the infections still in the tonsils, you may feel better now, but the pain may come back very soon.

From the simple disease, now it likes to get serious problem?
Why are you not go to doctor? Like GP (General Practitioner) or ENT specialist. It can be a renal problem or heart problem, if being serious condition.
