Swollen lymph nodes and sore throat?

Other people asked questions on various topics, and are still
waiting for answer. Would be great if you can take a sec and
answer them
Swollen lymph nodes and sore throat?I have about 2 swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck and a very bad sore throat. It hurts when I swallow. I also have pus on my tonsils and low-grade fevers. I went to the doctor and he said it's just a viral infection and gave me antibiotics. I missed school 2 days already and stayed in for the weekend. I want to know how long this will last?

you should start to feel better about 2 to 3 days after starting your antibiotics. make sure you take your antibiotics the same time every day and finish all of them no matter if you feel better or not. If you don't finish them all your infection could come back and be worse. I hope you feel better soon.

It should not be more than 2-3 days. Do warm salt/water gargles. Take antibiotics. Take honey. Looks to be tonsillitis.
