sounds like strep to me...I have it too. Call your dr in the morning. Are you running a fever?

anything is possible with those symptoms u need medical help to rule out mono strep usually sores in mouth accrue not all cases and if u have a fever has a input without running test its hard to say

if there r little white dots on ur throat then its strep. i could be mono or its probably just a sore throat, theres a lot going around......but just in case u might want to talk to ur doctor. hope this helps!!!

Wow...i think we have the same thing. Doctor told me it was just a virus. Strep test was negative, but didn't test for mono. Might go back tomorrow and ask for that. Do you have any white spots on your tonsils?

you can take prescribed antibiotics.
gargle warm Water with a tablespoon of salt.
don't drink cold drinks.
