So I woke up with a white thing on my tonsil?!?What is it???!!! omg i'm so scared right now
it's kind of bigger than the other tonsil...just a little bit and now that i think about it, it's kinda hurting i guess...and the past couple of mornings when i wake up my wisdom tooth on that side is sorta bothering me..but it eventually goes away. i just felt this thing in my throat when i woke up...like there was a popcorn kernel stuck or something you know...and i look and there's this little white thing on it and i looked it up on google..it looks like this

does anyone know for sure that it would be a tonsil stone?
and how do they go about getting rid of it?!

This sounds like a strep infection. You should see a doctor and get a throat swab. If it is strep you will be put on an antibiotic. Don't delay in seeing a doctor because if it is strep it will keep getting worse.

It could possibly be mono, strep, or tonsillitis.
I HIGHLY suggest you go to the doctor immediately.

I get these quite often. I have something called cryptic tonsils, not sure if you have this but you may look it up. My doctor says that it is basically just a large collection of food that gets caught in the crypts and eventually works its way out. Mind you, I have no other symptoms besides the little white things (which I just dig out). If you are experiencing fever or a sore throat you need to got to a doctor because that would indicate an infection.
