legally how many times do you need to have strep and mono to get your tonsils or adenoids removed?Ive had one or the other all year and now im ready to just get the damn things out and stop the suffering. but how come my doctor wont take them out even after all the problems ive been having all year?

I do not believe there is a legal limit to how many times you need to get sick before having your tonsils removed.
Go to an ear, nose and throat specialist and tell them whats been happening, i.e. how often your getting sick/how sever your sickness has been. That is usually how the doctors decide yay or nay.
Also another note: it depend if your tonsils are doing there job of helping fight infections. Your ENT specialist will give you all the info about why or why not to remove your tonsils. Good luck!
