i started getting tonsil stones when i was 12 and every dr i went to thought i was nuts when i said i had food stuck in my tonsils. they always told me oh its just some dry mucous nothing to worry about. well 10yrs later i finally figured out what it really was and went to my dr and she never heard of it before. i waited a while and then went to an ENT (ear nose and throat dr) and immediately he knew what i was talking about. and 2 months later i had my tonsils out. it wasn't a very pleasent experience to say the least but i'm definitely happy i did it cuz i haven't had a problem since.

Yes, I believe so. Many of the the websites you will find online which offer cures are scams. I went to an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist about tonsil stones at 27 and he said there was no cure and I was too old for a tonsillectomy. So since then I've simply been keeping my tonsil clean with an ear curette. You can find one here: www.tonsiltools.com They are great at staying ahead of the problem before the stones get big.
