I have a swollen lymph node on the right of my throat and red tonsils but no sore throat. What's going on?I did have a sore throat a few weeks ago but I took a zpak and it's been gone.

I'll have this lymphnode feeling every once in a while but I just now realized thats what it is when I saw the ball yesterday.

you could possibly have strep throat.
i had a swollen lymph node and went to the doctor, i had no symptoms, however..the doctor said i'd get them so often that i didn't have the sore throat..if that makes any sense.

A swollen lymph node means that it is doing it's job. It is capturing any germs in your throat and killing them - that is what it does. If you have no pain, then the lymph node has done it's job and when you are well again, the swelling will go down. This may take a couple of weeks before the swelling is gone. If, for any reason, you again get worse and worse, then it is time to see your doctor. A swollen lymph node is nothing to worry about - they are just doing their job correctly.
