I have a sore throat a some white stuff on my tonsils. Should i be worried? ?There is not much white stuff. Im not sure how to explain it. I'm afraid it might be mono. Can someone give me an idea as to what it may be and if i should be worried?

you might have strep throat or tonsillitis. Go to your doctor and get a throat swab test done just to be sure.

I'm no doctor but it sounds like you have Strep Throat.
I'd get it checked out.

hi,
what your explaining sounds like septic tonsillitis. your throat will be very sore for a few days (in severe cases you might need antibiotics)
make sure you drink plenty even if you don't wanna eat, it will stop you dehydrating. if you pop along to your chemist an ask him for tyrozets (think thats how you spell it) they will help to numb the pain (they are about £2.50-£3 but if you get free prescriptions ask the chemist if he runs the nhs scheme an if they do you will get them free)
