Try using a water pik to lossen it, then it should fall out. I get them almost every day and this works the best for me.

Hope this helps!

Annie I felt like something was always stuck in my throat, I could not get rid of the foul smell no matter how much I brushed my teeth, flossed and gargled. The stones would always come out at the worse times too. Trying to remove them with spoons or picks only irritated the crypts, which only made the problem worse, because the stones could not freely come out and left me with a sore throat.

After trying many different things, this is what worked for me.

1.Irrigating the tonsil crypts with a water pick (lowest setting and lukewarm water) _ after a few days all the stones were removed (I couldn't believe how many actually came out). My breath is now fresh all the time and no more swollen tonsils. I now use the water pick only as needed to keep my tonsils clean. The tonsils provide a valuable function and it is good to keep them clean and healthy.

2.I added yogurt to my daily diet, which helps to reduce the sulfur bacteria, which causes the foul smell in the mouth.

3.Gargle with Listerine or the mouthwash of your choice regularly.

Now you can talk to people face to face, without worrying about your breath or constantly thinking about those filthy tonsil stones. Enjoy a clean and fresh life again!
