Has anyone successfully remove tonsil stones with water picks?

Hi,I did the following:
Has anyone successfully remove tonsil stones with water picks?I am able to get the deep ones with a cotton swab but not the really deep one. It feels like it wont come out so I just bought a water pick and am charging it now so I am wondering if it its going to work.

Prolly won't work.
What does work for the stubborn ones is those thin, long, bamboo skewers, like the kind you use for chicken kabob.
Just gently pick it out with the pointy end of the skewer, just be careful. You can get a pack of these at the grocery.

I used to use a toothpick to get the deep ones out of the holes in my tonsils, that worked but it can cause you to bleed. Recently, I went to the dentist and told her about these tonsil stones, and surprisingly the hygienist suggested something that actually works! Here it goes: you have to put pressure on the side of your tonsils (where the curtain-looking things are in front of the tonsils). Try to put as much pressure as you can comfortably take until you make that sound like you're gonna puke, when you do this is when your tonsils will contract and that's when the deep stones will actually pop out as you continue putting pressure on the tonsils. I know it sounds a little strange but it works, I find that with that method I'm able to get the really hidden ones and back ones that I had never been able to get before (not even with the toothpick). I know how annoying and disgusting they are so I understand, hope that helps. Good Luck!
