Enlarged tonsil with white spots? Mono? Tonsillitis? Strep Throat?

Enlarged tonsil with white spots? Mono? Tonsillitis? Strep Throat?I've been sick for about three or four days. I've been feeling slightly better in terms of my fever (my temperature hasn't been that high since Sunday night). But as that gets better, it seems like my throat gets worse!
My right tonsil is about four times the size of my left tonsil, with white spots on it. I have pain in my right ear and a really swollen lymph nodes along my neck. I also have muscle aches, my neck is really sore, a head ache, and I had stuffy nose a few days ago but it seems to be gone now.

I had strep throat about four months ago, and this feels slightly similar, except this time is not as bad and only one tonsil is painful.
Could it be strep returning, or maybe tonsillitis?

Also, one of my best friends had Mono, and we always share stuff. Is it possible that I have mono now too? Is this a common sign of mono?

Should I wait for this to clear up, or go see a doctor and get diagnosed?

Thanks for you help :)
