do you find it satisfying to pick at tonsil stones?I get tonsil stones from time to time, and I sometimes will take the end of my toothbrush or something, push up on my tonsils and get the stones out. It's actually really cool looking. The stones are a combination of post nasal drip, bacteria and food particles and it stinks really bad. It's nasty but it's a very satisfying feeling getting them to come out.

I have never ever heard of tonsil stones - so no i don't find it satisfying to pick them.

I actually do..I don't get them but a friend of mine does and she often comes to the lab and asks me to pick em out for her..

I had my tonsils removed at the age of 4. Now I'm glad I did!..

My husband does the same thing.....it is gross, but he says it feels good when they come out....whatever turns your crank I guess!!

Why yes, I do. In fact, I use the thin bamboo skewers that you are supposed to use for shish-kebab and I pick them out and then I spit them down the drain!
That is how I spell relief.
I don't like the weird feeling when they rub on the back of your throat.
