Continuous sore throat after tonsillitis?

These are useful and collceted by kong!
Continuous sore throat after tonsillitis?About 3 weeks ago I had tonsilitis. Ever since then I've had a slight sore throat. You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning after you've slept with your mouth open? That's how it feels except its nonstop. Any ideas of what it could be? It's not unbearable pain, just aggravating.
Thanks!

Throat irritation can be caused by several reasons. Viral and bacterial, like cold and flu, are usually accompanied by fever but allergies can also cause the type of soreness you described. Ask your doctor about seeing an Allergist. You might also avoid stuff like second hand smoke, dust, sleeping with a fan, an open window, or check for dirty air filters in your home.

Continuous tonsillitis or tonsil stones, may affect adenoids too.
