can you get strep throat without tonsiles?just wondering because the doctor told me other wise but my gf may have it....and she doesn't have tonsil just like me..... lil help cause i want to play tonsil hockey

I think you can get strep throat, you just can't get tonsillitis, if you have no tonsils.

You can get strep without tonsils but its uncommon and its usually not as severe as when you have tonsils.

You can get it without tonsils. Strep throat is just a strep infection in your throat. You can't get tonsillitis, though.

Yes you can get strep throat without tonsils, I had it a few years ago and I was very sick. I don't have tonsils.
