Can I eat a sandwich with cheese and mayo while I am sick?I have an infection in the throat, probably the tonsils, but i've been taking antibiotics for 3 days now. Is it ok to eat cheese and mayo?

well it is ok, but cheese (and any dairy product) cause production of mucus, which may make your infection more uncomfortable. Same for if you have cold/cough..try to avoid dairy til its better.

Yes. Some antibiotics will not work correctly if taken with milk, but just eating dairy products will not hurt the effectiveness unless noted. Mayo should not have an affect either.

You should be fine, keep in mind that dairy products thicken the saliva and that could cause an uncomfortable feeling in the throat.
