Back of my mouth is red and sore on one side right next to my tonsil and feels rough when I touch it with my?tonge. Could it be strep or flu. I have been on antibiotics for a week with a sinus infection and had this sore throat for a week now.

It could be strep throat,or if you've been coughing allot it could just be raw the only way to find out for sure is to go back to the doctor and have them swipe your throat with a cotton swap and have it test.If the antibiotics doesn't help heal it up then the best thing to do is to go back to the doctor so they can give you something else.In the mean time you can gargle with warm salt water that should help soothe your throat it also helps with the healing process that's what my doctor tells me every time I get a sore throat.Hope you feel better soon!
