The back of my left tonsil is very itchy?I've been itching it all day with my tongue, it's very annoying.
Does anyone know what may be causing the itch and how to stop it?

Your tonsil might be irritated. Some of the causes are, eating sweets like candies, chocolates, ice cream, cakes and pastries. Drinking cold ater and cold juices also cause irritation. You can avoid it by avoiding the foods that cause irritation. Some of the practical ways to stop it are, salt or warm water gargle, you may try also if you can tolerate it the vinegar with salt gargle. If you have tried these and still nothing happens, please consult your doctor.
