After getting you wisdom teeth removed, did you get a swollen Uvula as a side effect of the surgery?

After getting you wisdom teeth removed, did you get a swollen Uvula as a side effect of the surgery?I know when poking around in your mouth, the Uvula can potentially swell up. Maybe if people have their tonsils removed etc), but what about wisdom tooth surgery, did anyone's Uvula swell up within a week after getting their wisdom teeth removed? Did this happen to you after the surgery? Or do you know someone who this happened to after they has wisdom tooth removal surgery?? Also, I read it could be a side effect of medications - dry throat is a side effect that is - and dry throat can lead to swollen Uvual. Lastly, if you got swollen Uvula what did you do to SUCCESSFULLY get ride of the swelling?? I have an appointment set with an ENT, but just wondering if this happened to anyone.

Stephanie
same thing happened to me. And nothing else is swollen... just the uvula :-(
