White things on tonsils ? and really bad breath.?Alright so the other day my fiance noticed he had these like white ball things back around his tonsils and he says his tonsils look like they have like craters in them almost so he thought it was something bacteria related and has been gargling mouth wash and salt water 3 times a day well since then ive started to notice hes got really really bad breath even like an hour after he has brushed his teeth what could this be?
I know its not strep we have both had strep and know the symptoms and such. Its just weird because he has no pain at all its just gross and makes his breath smell bad lol.

But it might be something else so get it checked out by a doctor.

lol okay, its nothing to worry about, honestly. i have the same things. do they like, fall out after awhile? yeah. it's just a food particle build up because he probably has larger than normal tonsils. i have the EXACT same thing. his throat doesnt hurt right? its just really gross. it seems to help me just washing stuff down with water after i stop eating. gargling with mouthwash might help too.
yeah, its nothing to worry about if his throat isnt red and if it doesnt hurt. i honestly cant tell you how to fully get rid of it besides getting his tonsils fully removed (which i dont want either). its normal though.

Your friend probably has tonsil stones. Some people recommend you use a water pic to remove the white stuff. You can also go to a doctor who will clean the tonsils. The white stuff is bacteria that does produce bad smells.
In addition, your friend should also understand that bad breath is caused by this same bacteria that collects on the back of the tongue. Even if you do not have tonsil stones you can have bad breath due to the bacteria on the back of the tongue. Brush your teeth and then clean your tongue. I use OraBrush tongue cleaner because it will clean the back of the tongue.
