Got a 19-year old in the Philippines with tonsillitis. Any alternatives (meds, homeopathic ) to removal?FYI, the cost of removal is understood to be 25000 pesos or about US$ 500. We don't want the removal if there's another way. Don't know the girl's doctor there but have been generally satisfied (and sometimes amused) with our own Philippine medical care. We are in the USA.

She just needs antibiotics. I've had tonsilitis before and have yet to have them chopped out. since it is PI, have her take any kind of good anti-biotics. Trust me, they will work.
