What can i do to help with my swollen tonsils?This sucks! One of my tonsils is swollen and this is the first time I ever had a swollen tonsil. :( It's hard to eat, drink and talk. Luckily for me I don't have any other symptoms like coughing, headache, fever or a sore throat. What can I do to help my tonsils? I don't want to see a doctor yet.

See a doctor immediately, you might be very sick and require treatment. Don't dawdle.

don't eat any solid foods, try eating jello,ice cream,chicken or beef broth also try dinking some warm tea with lemon and honey and try not to talk for a while it should go away.

you should get them taken out. When i was little mine were always getting large and swollen i would snore alll of the time and would always be sick. Then i got them taken out and i have been great ever since!

If you have tonsillitis then your going to be uncomfortable for a bit Try sucking on ice chips and say with liquid intake. You really should get to the Dr asap though as it could become much worse and your throat could close off due to the swelling and make it nearly impossible to breath.
