tonsillitis?if tonsillitis is not responding to antibiotics what would the next stage be to try and overcome the bacteria causing the infection?

I really recommend going to see a doctor. Most cases of soar throat are not bacterial tonsillitis. From what I can remember from class 90% of throat infections are viral and will simply go away in 7-10 days. However, you may in fact have bacterial tonsilitis. The only way to be certian is to see a doctor.
