Tonsil stones and sore throat?I'm fifteen years old, and I get at least two to three tonsil stones every week. They are very annoying, and cause an ear ache, sore throat, coughing fits, and bad breath. Two out of three doctors said I should keep my tonsils in even after eight positive cases of strep in 6 months. This is killing me! What can I do?

Go back to the doctors and tell them that you want them removed and the reason why. If they wont do it then see another doctor who will.
Did they give you a reason why they said you should keep your tonsils?

you go to the dr that said to remove your tonsils and you have them removed!
i am 24 and i had my tonsils out in 2009. prior to that i suffered with tonsil stones for 10yrs!
i don't regret having my tonsils out at all!
