Swollen, sore tonsil one side only; pain radiates to ear?On the right side my tonsil is swollen and painful. It's difficult to eat because it's blocking part of my throat and it hurts when I swallow. Whenever I do swallow, I get a pain that radiates to my inner ear. I'm noticing more pain in my ear as the day goes on, even when not swallowing. I did notice a couple of white spots when I looked. I have a very slight runny nose, but no other symptoms and no pain whatsoever on the other side of my throat.
What can/should I do? What do I probably have?

You very possibly have strep throat or just a bad virus but often when someone has a sore throat their ears hurt or even get infected as well because of where your glands are...go to the docotr
