REd bump on my tonsil?this morning my little sister had a sore throat she look at her mouth in the mirror and i notice on her left tonsil there is a red bump almost the size of skittle it has a white top she says its really painful when she swallow i would have no idea what this is or if its common how can she sooth the pain ,she has never been sexually active or kissed and she has a cold

To ease her pain; tell her to gargle with warm, salty water. As warm water in a glass as she can tolerate, and add a Tablespoon of salt, and stir until salt kind of dissolves into the water. Then tell her to gargle this solution. Anytime, you have pain in the throat, from a sore throat or sore tonsils.... this is what I do. It works so good, like "Magic Potion".....she should have no pain. Keep doing it as long as her throat hurts like that. If she wakes up in the middle of the night, and it hurts...tell her to do it again ! This will help the pain ! She can continue to do this......as often as needed. She will be so happy to do this, because I tell you.....This does work.
