Cold Symptoms but with white spots on tonsils?

Other people asked questions on various topics, and are still
waiting for answer. Would be great if you can take a sec and
answer them
Cold Symptoms but with white spots on tonsils?I thought I was getting just a normal cold, cause at the moment my nose is blocked and I've gone through the "groggy" phase. However this cold was the first cold ever that made me miss a day of school, and my sore throat seems to be holding out a tad longer than usual. I also have noticed that my tonsils have turned completely white.

My best friend recently had flu, but I've heard that the white tonsils are an indication of my immune system working.

Could I have flu, or something worse?

I'm off to the doctors tomorrow to get a jab, so any info would be great if i need a prescription :]

White spots can indicate a strep throat but not always. You could have a viral pharyngitis which requires no treatment. Also, fatigue with exudate can indicate Mono and you may be tested for that.

you could very easily have strep throat. what you are seeing could be blisters :( off to the doctor!
