Try directing the spray from a waterpik at them. Use the lowest setting so as not to tear tissue. Use about 5 oz. of warm water and 1 oz. food grade peroxide. Do it a few times a day, and try to vary the angle you spray from to help dislodge them. They are fairly common. Moreso in adults.

they are not serious or anything, but definitely something you need to see the doctor about. they are *usually* from "cryptic tonsils", which will continually get infected until you have them taken out. the stones are basically made from food that builds up in little crevices (crypts) that aren't supposed to be there. salt water will help somewhat, but not garaunteed to get rid of them. it will just help with the irritation mostly, and help to keep the infection from getting worse. they also have treatments where they can blast water to break them up, but chances are it will just keep happening, so in the long run, I would ask your doc if it would be best (in your case) to get them removed. hope that helps :)
