strep throat and swollen gums?I went to the doc and got a strep test which was negative but he went ahead and gave me antibiotics since I was in so much pain. My symptoms are extremely sore throat, swollen tonsils and neck glands, very painful swallowing and also on one side of my mouth my gums are swollen and painful and I have a small white sore above one of my teeth. Does anyone else get these mouth symptoms along with strep or throat infection?
Daniel
it is most likely just a systematic infection that is causing a rapid production of lymphocytes within your tonsils and lymph nodes.
