Sore throat, white patches, feeling of something stuck in throat?I've had a sore throat for a week and a half. Started out severe and got white exudate patches on my tonsils. I also had a low grade fever at this time. Strep test was negative. A week or so later I'm still having a sore throat (not nearly as bad!), but it now feels like something is stuck in my throat! No other symptoms besides this (no tiredness, fever, etc.) What could this be??? Can it be some other bacterial infection besides strep and it will just go away??

I would go to your doctor or GP. If they give you advice that doesn't work, or this doesn't go away, I would keep persisting. My brother had something like that after eating too much candy, but it went away after 2 days. You could also try testing what the problem is, Hope I helped.

could be strep. I would have it checked out.

tonsillitis is possibility ,should clear up with the next week yes if not see your doctor again ,the feeling may come from the throat muscles being abit swollen due to the infection of they may be tense this will pass when the infection does

It's definitley tonsilitis. I've got the same thing right now just got back from the doctor. It should go away on it's own soon enough...
