Small bump on tonsil?I have a pretty small flesh colored bump on my tonsil, and I don't know what it is. About a month ago I had a sore throat for a few days out of no where, and that is when I noticed it. But the sore throat went away and the bump is still there. It is not painful at all and I don't even notice it is there. Is this normal? What could it be?
Also, after looking at my throat, from looking at my tonsil, I noticed little red bumps and like, a red patch, on the back of my throat. I don't know if this is normal and I've just never noticed it before because I never looked, or if it is something to be concerned about. Is this just a normal part of the anatomy of your throat or what? Has anyone experienced any of these things?
Also, I am a 24 year old female, who has never smoked, and hardly drinks. I am going to the doctor anyway next Monday but I am making myself paranoid and could really use any ideas!
Also, I have tonsil stones, incase that adds anything...
the bumps and patch thing, are more pinkish then red.
